A MUSICAL STAGE SHOW / FILM

A musical stage show/film has been written called “Mirror Mirror”, having been inspired by the first book. Several paths of discovery are underway to bring the play into the mainstream.

ACT 1
SCENE1. THE STREETS OF PAIN

A city street at evening rush hour. (Think TS Elliot’s The Love Song of J Alfred Prufock. Sad, slow, grey, but a place in our own time). Chorus opening number. (Streets of pain…..a combination of A Time To Change and Violence And The Pain – (poems from the book put to music)

David. A man in his thirties loses everything. He stands in the street shouting, “Let me in;” as a few clothes and a suitcase tumble from the apartment above, followed by a photo frame. He gathers his things, singing (Facing Your Own Loneliness – poem from the book put to music)

An old woman appears and offers him shelter. Her husband recently died and she now has a spare room.
