The first ever A Child Unheard Foundation golf day will take place this year on Friday 22nd July 2011 at Sandford Springs Golf Club, Kingsclere, Hampshire RG26 5RT and we would be delighted if you are able to enter a team.

The funds raised will go to A Child Unheard Foundation to help children in Africa and further develop the existing A Child Unheard centre established 4 years ago in Uganda and then to open many more such centres throughout Africa. The charity has recently launched its new website so if you would like to know more about A Child Unheard Foundation please go to our website, www.achildunheard.com.

The format will be a team Stableford competition with teams of men and / or ladies. A full handicap allowance will be applied. We will be inviting a number of celebrities to ask them to participate in the golf day. We will be able to confirm the attendance of participating celebrities in due course. Watch this space!

The programme for the day is to assemble from 1130 Hours for bacon rolls and coffee. There will be a shot gun start at 1300 Hours, following which there will be a two course Carvery meal and the prizes will be presented and an auction, with a view to finishing at 2000 Hours. The star auction lot will be a two holiday in a luxury house in Barbados, complete with swimming pool and the use of a motor boat!
